Spring is finally here with it’s unpredictable weather and fluctuating temperatures. But at least there’s new spring/ summer collections in clothes and beauty products! As much as I like oxblood and navy blue, I welcome the fun bright colors. And I’m even happier to have some of Chanel’s summer collection in my possession (yes, I feel very cool). Two nail polishes in Lillis (coral) and Azure (metallic teal blue) and two lip glosses in Eden and Envolee.  I am contemplating trying their lipstick or eye shadow, though I don’ really need more makeup, so let’s not get carried away.

EDM is making a comeback it seems…

A new  feel good song from Michael Bublé and  Jamie Pressly cracks me up.

I’ve never bought anything for myself from Cole Haan, but managed to buy 3 pairs of shoes this weekend (oops).  2 pairs are cushioned with Nike Air (whoa!), here’s to hoping they’re really as comfortable as they say. The 3rd pair was nude flats, they’re just not that exciting.

New Paramore, I can’t wait to listen to the new album. Hayley William’s hair is now pink and orange, interesting. The video is completely random and whimsical and her tights are confusing, yellow dripping paint effect?

This song is already being over played on the radio waves, you’ll either love it or hate it.

I wish I knew more about the zodiac , what all the signs really mean and who/what they relate well with, but I don’t. But I’m usually excited to see what the zodiacs wind up on.  Scrolling through Instagram during one of my many daily checks, I saw Charlotte Olympia’s cosmic collection via Netaporter. I love the the flats (thought not necessarily my style) with the crystal studded scorpio (that’s me) placed in the middle of a heart outlined in gold piping.  The stitched zodiac sign is a nice touch on the side of the flats. But they’re also a whopping $695, way more than what I would pay for flats! The clutches are not as mesmerizing though.

I decided to make some double chocolate mint cookies the other night as there were pretty much no other sweets in the house. I used this recipe that I randomly chose from a google search and substituted chocolate chips with Andes mint chocolate chips. I added more cocoa powder and only 1.5 sticks of butter (I always add less butter, too much butter more or less grosses me out). The Andes chips are incredibly tiny pieces of mint sandwiched between chocolate, (why would you think differently), so it’s not overwhelmingly minty. The cookies were more cake-y, but they were darn tasty!
